1. Our commitment
Everyone should be able to post a resume and find opportunities, whatever device, assistive technology or ability they have. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
2. What we've done
- Works with keyboard only, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Labelled form fields, error messages announced to screen readers, and meaningful page headings.
- Text and controls with colour contrast that meets WCAG AA.
- Respects your device's “reduce motion” setting — animations switch off.
- Large touch targets and a layout that adapts from small phones to large screens.
3. How we test
We check pages with automated tools (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, test keyboard navigation, and check layouts at phone, tablet and desktop sizes. This statement was last reviewed on 21 October 2026.
4. Known limitations
- The “Continue with Google” button is provided by Google, so its accessibility depends on Google. You can always sign in with an email or phone code instead.
- Resumes that users upload (PDF/Word) may not be fully accessible — we encourage everyone to fill in their TALJobs profile too, which is.
5. Tell us about a barrier
If something is hard to use, please email us at support@touchalife.org. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 working days and can help you post your resume another way in the meantime.
